Where will my session be?
We’ll decide that together. I offer a pre-session consultation with all family sessions. We can do this either in person or via zoom if you are not local. We’ll talk about your family, what kind of images you’re hoping for from your session and how you might want to use these images once we have them taken. I absolutely LOVE planning and can’t wait to start.
I have a fully outfitted indoor photography studio with all the lights, backdrops and equipment you could dream up…and I also adore going on location to places that are special to you and your family.
What if it rains?
I will watch the weather closely as your Session approaches. If it looks like rain, we’ll either move things indoors if possible or reschedule to a day/time as soon as possible. All of my session fees are non-refundable, but they are transferrable to any future date.
Do you retouch photos?
Absolutely. All ordered images are fully retouched. This means that I clean up complexions, remove scratches/bruises (Why is it kids always get bumps & bruises the day before a photo session, lol?) and just generally make your images look fantastic. I have worked in Photoshop for over 15 years, so you can feel comfortable that I will help you and your family look amazing.
How long will the Session last?
Family sessions for smaller groups (1-7 people) tend to be around an hour. Larger family groups can take up to two hours. If you’re wondering about your particular group feel free to get in touch.
How long before I can see my images?
I will have your images ready to review two to three weeks after our Session.
How do I see my images when they are ready?
Once your images are ready for you I will invite you back to the studio and use state-of-the-art software to review your images, select your favorites and start working on an order. If you live far away I am more than happy to work through this process with you over Zoom.
Do you offer digital images?
Of course. It is my goal that you have some beautiful, long-lasting keepsakes from your session. Digital files don’t last forever, the media they’re on quits working. We loose track of the files. My first priority is to provide you with products that will last. I’ve worked very hard to curate amazing products just for you and your family.
Having said that, I realize that we are living in a very digital age. I include matching watermarked low-resolution images for social media sharing with any images order. I also include complimentary matching high-resolution non-watermarked images any print or art purchased at the 16×20 size or larger and also with any Legacy Album. If you still want more, I do have digital image collections available for purchase.
