It isn’t every day you get to meet two people as kind and happy as Dennis and Beverlee. It was obvious to me the moment I met them that the two of them shared something special. It was my absolute pleasure to photograph their wedding day. Originally Denny & Beverlee had planned for a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Habberstad House Bed & Breakfast. This gorgeous B&B would have been a wonderful location, but the weather here in Minnesota just didn’t want to cooperate. With thunderstorms in the forecast everything was moved indoors to the upper floor of the Old Village Hall. We were able to start out at the Habberstad House and get some beautiful photos of Denny, Beverlee, and their families before the rain came.
You can’t tell it in this photo, but if I’d taken one just three seconds later you would see everyone making a mad dash to help me get all of my camera gear under the roof. It turns out that adjusting the plans to have the ceremony indoors was a very, very good thing. Here is a photo just a few minutes later outside of the wedding & reception location.
Very dark & stormy. . . but inside it was nothing but warmth, and the joy of family and friends together to celebrate a new beginning.
Congratulations Denny & Beverlee! Best wishes for a wonderful life together.
